This full-day walking tour is designed for start-up and growing apparel business owners who want exposure to valuable resources and connections to industry experts.

In this action packed day you will:

* Tour the four major apparel marts in the LA Fashion District

* Visit veteran sales reps showrooms

* Understand what quality sales reps are looking for

* Learn how to best present you line to showrooms

* Find textile outlets with low or no minimums

* Gain referrals to pattern makers and trend services

Tentative Itinerary

9.30am - Meet at the FBI in the California Market Center for coffee and orientation. (Bring walking shoes)

10am - Visit a California Market Center showroom (TBD)

11am - Walk to local fabric resources

Noon - Visit Copper Building for tour

1pm - Lunch at Tiara Cafe (Included)

2pm - Visit New Mart Building

3pm - New Mart Sales Representative overview

4pm - Visit Garry Building showroom space

4:15pm - The Apparel Mart for patternmakers

4:30pm - Return to FBI for overview and networking and trend presentation

5-5:30pm - Networking
