This no-holds barred course, The Apparel Boot Camp™, will help you to look at your company with a critical eye and see where you need to make changes in order to help the venture thrive. Through a combination of lectures, group discussions, reading assignments, and Q & A sessions, course participants will look at a different aspect of the business each week and will be provided with techniques, strategies, and information that they can use to become more profitable, produce a better product, and sell more units.
Among the topics that will be explored are:
Management (size, functions, expertise)Market Analysis (what to produce, for whom, at what price)Competition (product comparisons, distribution channels)Marketing Strategies (goals, tactics, timing, cost)Financial Projections (expenses, profit margins, sales volumes)
Instructor feedback about the participant's specific business (existing or proposed) will be made through the critiquing of written assignments submitted for review by the student. The instructor will also provide phone consultations to the participants,during the term of the course to discuss the course content, strategize about the student's venture, etc. If you're serious about your business and are willing to make changes in order to better compete in the marketplace, this is the course for you!
