From Los Angeles
Take Interstate 10 west to Lincoln Blvd. off ramp. At Lincoln ( first stoplight) turn left ( south) to Pico Blvd., turn right ( west) on Pico to Main street. Turn right on main and into the parking lot.
From points North & South
Take the 405 freeway to Interstate 10 west and follow the directions above.

These exhibitors bring you the very best of vintage clothes; couture designer items; accessories like purses, hats, gloves, and shoes; and fantastic selections of jewelry. They search this country and abroad - estate sales, auctions, bazaars, and, yes, other shows - with their treasure-hunting activities. You benefit from the vintage fashion and treasure-hunting obsessions of these wonderful dealers and their subsequent cleaning and restoring skills.

Not only is the Vintage Fashion Expo a great shopping opportunity but it also is a wonderful trip into history. Touring this show brings back many memories of yesteryear and offers many enjoyable moments.

Join with other knowledgeable buyers - including fashion designers, stylists, film costumers, period dance enthusiasts, classic car club members, Art Deco event attendees, the fashion press and well-dressed women of all ages. Having fun is the one thing that hasn't changed in twenty years. Spontaneous show-and-tell amongst shoppers is typical at the Vintage Fashion Expo. The Vintage Clothing & Textile Show in it’s 26th year, features 65 exhibitors selling and displaying a wide selection of antique textiles, vintage clothing and much more! Beyond the high fashion vintage and gently worn designer clothing, you will find an extensive array of other material from nostalgic eras including vintage table linens, bed linens, Victorian lace, draperies and cushions, a variety of wearable decorative trims, perfume bottles, jewelry boxes, buttons, shoes, handbags, jewelry, shawls, ethnic textiles and the list goes on.

The show has attracted a very loyal and enthusiastic following. In recent shows, designer resale has been a noticeably strong trend. Participating dealers are known to save their best and most unusual items for this event and their audience knows it. There is always something for everyone, from the most discerning collector to the college student on a limited budget!

Vintage Inspired - Bourbon Street Speakeasy

Saddleback College Fashion Student Cheri Wilson designed a costume for the producer Lori Brystan and offered to feature my costumes at the upcoming show in the flier above and below. Cheri Wilson a.k.a. Cheri Chagollan is getting some recognition for her work through this event. She wants fashion students to know they don't have to go to FIDM or other big fashion school to land opportunities out there. Cheri has plans to expand and may be hiring some students from the school in the near future. Contact her at cheriwlsn@yahoo.com for more information on her designs or other inquiries.

Vintage Expo in Santa Monica!

It's that time again! This event is a faculty favorite you won't want to miss! There is a wide range of periods (from 1850 to 1980) and price levels. Last year I got a beautiful 1950's dress for $35. Every style imaginable is showcased, from belle epoque to bell bottom jeans.
