FASH 254 Fashion in Southern California went on their first industry tour at Hurley in Costa Mesa. Scottie Somers, who is the Director of Goodwill and founder of Living the Dream foundation, led the tour for 14 fashion students at Saddleback.Scottie made the tour really made it special for the students. He spent over 2 hours showing all the areas of Hurley and discussing his personal passion "Living the Dream". H2O, Living the Dream, collaborations with artists, musicians, surfers, skaters, high school students in "Walk the Walk", CHOC walk - a collaboration with Disney. Students got an inside view at the design wall, sales room, technical design room, Converse room, Nike 6.0, and more!
He took time out of his day to do an amazing tour for the students. Each student got a Hurley t-shirt and chapstick. Thank you Scottie!
